Alvin and Stoick talk about guy stuff after work

Alvin and Stoick are both the political leaders of their respective districts in Dragon City. Outcast and Berk. But they do more than talk shop. Like any friends, they do go and talk after hours about other important business guy stuff. So they take their dogs and go to the neighborhood bar and just talk.

Not that Stoick's wife Valka approves of drinking or any kind of poison. She's adamant that one drink is one too many and you should never do poison of any kind one time. So abiding by the rules of his wife Stoick never really drinks any alcohol at the bar. They do serve other things at the bar for those not looking to get slammed. 

So when they go to The Slitherwing Stoick doesn't indulge in any of the poisons. He simply orders a very tall glass mixed soda flavors of the day. 

Alvin on the other hand usual on his bad days' orders a few shots otherwise orders does soda mix as well. 

So what Alvin frequent talk with Stoick is that he wants Stoick's help about how in the world is he suppose to get a date with Stoick's wife best friend Frigha Grul? A woman he's been hopelessly in love with since their college days. After hearing she survived nearly committing suicide he finds her more attractive. 

She's already a very attractive lady physically no denying that. But their personalities? Frigha is a firm pacifist and well? We know what Alvin like and his modern-day incarnation isn't that much different. Still, he wants her to go on at least one date and he can't even work up the nerve to ask her out! 

And it's been like this ever since college and now it's 20 years later and well neither are getting any younger is the fact of the matter.  He's forty years old and that fine thing is 35 and he really wants to date her and hopefully marry her and have a kid of their own before its too late. 

And yet he can't even say the words "Hello, my name is Alvin Treacherous and you are?" to her! 

And that my friends are how most nights at the Slitherwing go after work! Before Stoick goes home to his wife and three children and Alvin goes home to an empty and lonely house.
