Reunion

Zuko and Akiko reunited with their true father Iroh just before the battles that end the 100 year war. Before Iroh goes with the Order of the White Lotus to free Ba Sing Si and they go with Katara to claim their rightful place as Fire Lord and Lady after finally putting the Demon Azula in her place. 

But it's a very tearful and heartfull reuion as both figure Iroh was upset with them for very different reasons and he was only sad that they might have lost their way  but happy both found their way on their own and that their love has truly surived and conqured all. 

And he's more then happy to give Akiko away to Zuko when they get married as planned after the war is won and things are more stable after the war is over.

So as they fly off on Appa to go face Azula he whisper how much he loves his son and daughter and wishes them good luck.
